Explore the Journey
A unique, six month cohort experience designed to shape your imagination and deepen your relationships
What to Expect
Journey with 30-40 Friends
We intentionally keep cohorts small, no more than 40 lead pastors or strategic Kingdom leaders, to encourage deep, lasting friendships that endure long after the cohort ends.
3 City Meetups
We host 3 different city meetups in vibrant, secular cities with Kingdom pioneers that understand the complexities of leading the church in our current, cultural moment.
Zoom Gatherings
In between our city meet ups, we host several zoom gatherings that include interviews, teaching, and Q&A sessions with experienced ministry leaders.
Six Month Experience
Our cohort runs from October - March.
Sages + Innovators
Searock invites seasoned, pioneering, Kingdom leaders to share best practices and wisdom from years of front-line ministry.
Facilitators
Todd Proctor, Dave Lomas, Johnny and Lauren Gonzalez are experienced leaders and guides intentional about curating environments for encounters with God, community development, and content creation.

FAQ’s
-
Searock is a diverse group of men and women who are emerging leaders, committed to an orthodox expression of faith, serving as lead pastors, church planters, or are in strategic kingdom roles and are seeking to be formed around Searock's 7 convictions.
-
We will accept no more than 40 leaders. In most cases, these will be emerging leaders who are early in their ministry and looking for mentoring, community, and connections.
-
Originally, Searock began as an informal gathering of friends, who shared similar ministry values and a commitment to life-long learning, prayer and connection with older mentors.
After, more than a decade of learning and growing together, the Founders felt compelled to share and replicate their experience with other young ministry leaders. Today, Searock is led by a core leadership team. See our faculty page for more information
-
To receive the full benefits of the Searock experience, we encourage you to come to all 3 in-person meet-ups and attend all Zoom meetings.
Once you’re in the alumni community, you’ll be invited to future city gatherings.
-
The program costs $3,800 per person, plus transportation and lodging costs at city meet-ups. Spouses are invited to join for an additional $500. City meet-ups are carefully designed to provide a compelling and dynamic learning environment. Our in-person gatherings introduce innovative and exciting ministry approaches and provide significant conversations around current cultural issues and challenges in ministry. Participants will connect with peers and potential ministry friends and participate in our growing alumni community.
-
We find that leaders either (1) raise the funds from trusted partners and donors, (2) allocate this as part of their training and conference budget, or (3) pay for some of it out of pocket as a personal investment.
-
The program is designed for lead pastors, church planters and strategic kingdom ministry leaders. We don’t recommend bringing any staff to the cohort, as we want to focus the conversations on the needs of leaders.
